Fire Department Mission
The Jacksonville Fire Department is dedicated to
the consistent delivery of high-quality emergency
medical care, rescue, and fire protection to the
citizens of Jacksonville. This is accomplished
through EMS and Fire Suppression training, Public
Education in Fire Prevention and Health
Maintenance, Code Enforcement, and procurement of
quality EMS, Fire, and Rescue equipment.
